Kubuntu 10.10: Kein Sound mit Realtek ALC888

Ich habe gerade die neue Kubuntu-Version installiert und habe überraschenderweise keinen Sound (bei der Vorgängerversion ging alles). Die Soundkarte ist eine Realtek ALC888 auf einem Intel-Mainboard. Sie wird erkannt, der Treiber anscheinend auch geladen. Hier ein paar Ausgaben:

Nach etwas googeln habe ich gelesen, dass es helfen könnte die Karte explizit in der /etc/modprobe.d/alsa-base.conf anzugeben. Meine sieht jetzt folgendermaßen aus, wobei die letzte Zeile von mir eingefügt wurde:

Inzwischen hab ich auch schon das VLC und GStreamer backend installiert, beides brachte keine Besserung. Im Alsamixer habe ich alles voll aufgedreht, im Phonon-Setup bekomme ich nur "Internal Audio Analog Stereo" als Auswahl, in der Vorgängerversion waren da aber sicher noch alle 3 von "aplay" genannten Geräte drin.
